Why does my car jerk in 1st Gear?
Car has 20k, jerks forward when leaving a parking lot or driving in traffic. Only happens sometimes. No mods by the way. Anybody out there with similar problems?

MR or GSR. See if it's a GSR you have a clutch thingy and a shifty thing and you have sort of slowly transition letting the clutch out while pushing on the go peddle slightly, do it too fast and it is jerky.
Just kidding. Need a little more information... GSR or MR? original clutch I presume? Change your brake fluid recently?

Any manual car I have ever driven has been jerky in first gear. I only stay in first while accelerating or maintaining speed. If I am going to slow down I either do so in 2nd or put the car in neutral.

If I'm stuck in traffic moving in first and can't really get to second, my car will jerk. Usually I'll just push the clutch in and let it roll or put it in neutral.

Evos are tempermental. My VIII was and so is my X. I'd work on the foot work and change the shifter bushings.

I tried the lwg maps but lost a good but of boost, so I switched back to the Beta 1.8. A little extra throttle and a tad more clutch slip avoid the jerky stutter. I need to try the latest beta version too see ififit's smoother and pull some data.
