evo x lightweight battery setup?

Just wondering, what are the good lightweight battery setups for the evo x? I'm looking into the lithium batteries, but not sure where I can get the light weight battery trays at?

*From my research.
You have to get a non vented solid cell battery because its in the cabin. Also, a surplus it seems of cranking amps (Not sure why the evo x requires so much, it might be the hydraulic AYC pump but im not sure)
What I have seen of the lightweight battery kits is that they die much quicker and a not cheap either.
Are you tracking the car?

We have used the Odyssey PC680 for a number of years, with good results. Racing the car only, no AC, no radio, but also not much charging. Works fine unless you leave something on. Others use Optima, or some of the new lithium batteries. Gutted cabin, our is behind the passenger seat.

I haven't heard that the X requires much in the way of CCA, ayc pump included. Maybe I'm wrong. As for trays, I think AMS has one.

ok guys, so I have been running the Battery Tender BTL35A480C on my Vette for a few weeks now and its awesome. It is not sluggish at all even in hot weather starting the 6.2L. Nothing noticeable at all different from a factory battery. This is on a weekend/daily driver, no issues sitting a week.

Amazon.com: Battery Tender BTL35A480C Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery: Automotive Amazon.com: Battery Tender BTL35A480C Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery: Automotive

I can't do cold weather testing but, its not an issue out here. I will do a quick write up soon on mounting instructions, etc.

I definitely recommend it. Its so light it feels like you are holding an iPhone 6S in the palm of your hand.

I've been running a Braille lithium battery in my daily driver for three years (GU1R if i remember correctly) and it has performed flawlessly. Car has a T4 7670 externally gated kit on it and I've even left it for 2-3 weeks without driving it and it started on the first crank. Also great at cold weather starts as well. Voltage during pulls is much more even than with the stock battery as well, I've noticed no negative effects at all.

The GU1R kit comes with a charger as well at the mounting hardware.

The Battery tender is 1/2 the weight of the Braille and 1/3 the price. I picked mine up from amazon for $200 last month. Walmart had it for about $180 also. They are out of stock there at this time.

that's a really good price. What's the longest you have left it on the car without driving or charging it?

I think 10 days. it started normally. its lithium so it doesn't self drain like lead acid. If you are not in cold climates, this is an awesome product for the money. its operating in the heat without any issues.

its ridiculous how light this thing is. its like the fake demo plastic ones sitting on store shelf, AND it has a 3 year warranty.
