Weight Sensors under the seat. SOLVED

A couple weeks ago a found a module for the Evo X that simulates the weight sensors specific signal and allows you to change seats. so i planned to do a write up on it.
I figured the install would be much more complicated than this but here it goes

Under the passenger seat:

the plug on the left is the one we need to splice into.

on our Module we have 3 wires. Black, Red, Yellow

splice the black and red to the black and red on the plug.

splice the other 4 wires Blue, Green, Yellow, White all into the single yellow wire.

unplug all the weight sensors, or cut that portion of the harness off if you never plan to put it back together.

going on 100 miles without any issues, or weight sensors in the car.

here's the link where i bought it. I have not seen one anywhere else online either.

It never disarms like it would if the seat was empty.

I think he meant do you produce this module. Sounded like you make/distribute it from your original post.

This makes sense and imo is the desired way for it to be setup. Who is putting a child in a bucket front racing seat?

The interesting part though is that the light on the center console will blink at you to say that the passenger hasn't buckled their seatbelt. But at least it only blinks, and doesn't alarm.

I have a 2015 MR so if I were to buy some Bride or Sparco bucket seats, this module would keep the light off AND my airbags would still work as if I had kept the stock seats in?

Exactly. Otherwise you have to deal with fabricating some brackets and installing resistors to get your aftermarket seats in.

This is right other than the resistors are still needed in the yellow airbag clip.

This just takes care of the weight sensors on the passenger side.

You still need resistors to defeat the airbag warning for both seats.

You also still need to maintain the drivers seat slider position sensor and plug that in under the seat.

These aren't very complicated to do though.

Seat airbag resolution is documented in the thread https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ult-codes.html
