New 15 Evo Owner Here

I just purchased my 15 Evo so I'm new around here but not new to the whole car scene. I really like this forum so far. I am a previous wrx and STI owner and use to stroll around on the Subaru pages. Everyone here seems pretty helpful and there seems to be a lot of info for me to learn. I got the car a week ago and am very happy that I did. Always wanted an Evo.
I seem to be going the route I know from my time with The STI. Just bought a unmarried Cobb accesport from the private forsale forum here. I plan on a few other mods for now and a protune from local shop in Rocklin CA by my house. Now just need to do some research and pick what works best for wanting the most power and living in the restrictive State of CA.
Thanks to all for the input they have provided for me to read and learn. Nice to meet everyone

Just hit up 5150 racing, and the EVO has different preferred mods than the Subaru. Downpipe is only really necessary after a bigger turbo, for instance. Enjoy your new car, you have a few awesome places to do work for you out there choose carefully! Just with the Subaru, in the wrong hands and a bad tune, you can have $$ repair bills.

I have an AMS widemouth down pipe, ETS test pipe and a Greddy cat back. Right now on a 91oct tune I made like 298awhp. Im actually going to get a flex fuel tune with a legendary tuner soon though cause with the mods I have even though my car is an MR I feel like it got a bad tune and left a lot out there. Not. Numbers guy but the car barely feels faster then stock.

Congrats on the car! I also have been on the Subi forums and evo guys tend to try to help each other out more from what I've seen.

A drop in filter and a tune can give you some massive power, especially with a 3-port. Just go to a reputable shop.

Are you worried about voiding the warranty?

Congrats on your new car. I am looking to purchase the same model this summer. I believe it does not come with the recaro seats. Do you like the seats it currently has?

Thanks everyone for warm welcome.

I like the seats yeah, but I was bummed to not have recaros and I may still try and purchase at some point: the heated leather seats are definitely still nice in my opinion.

I have ave a drop in filter now and Cobb AP Installed.
Bought a depo racing test pipe but haven't put on because o2sensor was being a pain to get off and didn't want to strip it.

Next I cant wait to get full exhaust and tune. Maybe e85!!!

I love the car and yes it handles amazing. I remember the first time I went around a corner fast I could hardly believe it. Felt like it was stuck to ground on rails haha
