The manifold connects to the stock PCV valve. When you delete it by either welding a fitting or screwing a straight through fitting you no longer have a one way valve connecting to the manifold and then boost can now be introduced into the crankcase.


What I was suggesting was to use an inline PCV valve to replace the stock plastic one if you were going to use fittings on the valve cover. Also, you can get rather intricate with these PCV systems.


I took inspiration from a corvette forum and they used 3 of those valves to have draw on the crankcase from both the PCV and the valve cover ports at boost and part throttle. It's all in the flow design.

Just my 2 cents but I would use a recirc like radium's if you daily your car and don't want to smell oil every time you come to a stop.
