Going to Japan to see new X Dec.20.07
I decided to get an 08 evo this will be my first mitsu car.
Currently own 2zz-ge toyota. coming from n/a world I hear once you own a turbo car you never want to go n/a right? I will be in Japan this winter since my wife is Japanese, it will be an awesome opportunity to check the car while I am there, talk to some Japanese evo fans etc.. Now will the Japanese specs are exaclty the same for US or US is going to be detuned? or should I just buy the car in Japan and ship it here? also which one to buy 5speed or the new TC-SST clutch system? |
SST for me

You'll need an international drivers licence to drive in Japan, if you plan on taking an X for a test-drive There haven't been any SS-T's built yet, only RS and GSR 5-speeds GW JapanpartsLLC JapanvehiclesLLC JDM translated spec. below http://www.japanvehicles.com/newcars/mitsubishi/Evo10/Evo10.htm |
I'll be staying in Adachi-ku. Tokyo
AAA is right around the corner from my home in Seattle. I'll make sure to get my license. I'll be visiting http://www.Brashboy.net as well cause its right around the corner from Adachi. for my 2zz-ge adventure. Graham is that you. I've purchased some parts from you for my matrix is Ogikubo located on the Chuo line? I usually use metro instead of JR cause its chepaer plus my station where I am going to be is Kita-Senju. I can get to Shibuya no problem not that far anyways. |

OK; from Kita-Senju: get on the Yamanote ( Central circular ) line at Nippori; and head in Shinjuku direction Change at Shinjuku onto the Chuo line and Ogikubo is 6 x stops from Shinjuku; about 40-50 minutes from Kita-Senju once you get on the train there Take the North Exit at Ogikubo station ( KITA in Japanese, the same kanji as Kita-Senju ) Strongly suggest you phone 1st and make an appointment to visit as this time of year I am out of the office a lot Sure; if you get the chance, come visit Best!
