Where are the tuner's logs about the EVO X???

All:

Come on!! It's only 1 month away and you mean to tell me that none of the tuners (Buschur, AMS, etc..) can't get ahold of one for testing and tuning? They were all over the VIIIs and IXs!

They should've gotten some cars by now.

Where's the logs?

I don't own an evo, and never have. I have tuned a 4g63 or two in the past though.

However, I am wondering what kind of "production issues" you have seen? Please elaborate as I am seriously considering the purchase of an X. I would like to hear what kind of issues the new engine is experiencing before I buy one.

From what I have seen, the x is hauling a$$ in Asia. Granted the car may be heavier, but the new awd system is the most advanced you can get in a car under 40K, the options available are more advanced, the car is safer, the interior is nicer, the ride is better for daily driving, and overall the car is killing it so far. Like I said, I don't own an Evo and have never owned one but I would like to hear the "downfalls" you speak of before I spend my hard earned money.

Thanks for your time in advance Felickz

Some Japanese tuners got the first batch of the Xs for free to test and develop parts because a lot of them have been helping manufacturers developing their vehicles for years (OE or Aftermarket). So stay tuned!

As for U.S? I can't speak for Mitsubishi USA.. because they are probably waiting for their production models to be shipped over here from Japan??

Not to be an a$$, but all the information is readily available if you spend a few mintues researching this site, the car magazines articles about the X and use Google. You really shouldn't expect others to do your research for you {thumbup}

Back to the topic. Tuners will need production models, so Buschur, AMS, WORKS and the rest of the guys probably won't have products and tunes out for a few months. Although, there is a thread on here about the 4B11T in which AMS makes comments about the engine. Some things they like. Some things they don't like. Maybe they were able to get their hands on an engine already...

Well I have been reading up for the past few months almost daily and have read dozens of articles on the car. The only problem I have seen is with the dual clutch trans. What other problems in particular are they experiencing? I have yet to hear of any other issues

I think the evo X is a better all around car, what we got so far out of news. Looks like it will fall behind on track vs previus ones. But how many trash talkers actually does serius racing on track?
Besides how many hours you spend on track vs street?

^^True I only drive my car on the street, soon on the track......
