Nice.

Somebody log the boost curve.... I want to see what PSI this thing is pushing after it peaks.

AGP did a lot of great stuff for the SRT-4. I can't wait to see what they do for the EVO X.

Billy@EnglishRacing Jan 24, 2008 01:06 PM

Do you guys have anything planned for the car yet?

Guerillah Jan 24, 2008 01:15 PM

Sweet, thanks! Get a boost controller on that bad

DanJ Jan 24, 2008 01:52 PM

How is that sweet? I would want stock boost to be 9psi...

Guerillah Jan 24, 2008 02:17 PM

Peak boost isnt really important except if you're looking at peak tq.... it makes 23psi around 3600rpm but falls off to 15psi by 7000rpm. If boost was to hold 23psi to redline (not sure if the new turbo is even capable of that) horsepower would be much higher. Peak horsepower stock is at 5500~rpm and at roughly 18psi.

DrSmile Jan 24, 2008 02:22 PM

1500 rpm duration is not a boost spike by any definition. It's just a way to get a heavy car off the line and feel like it's moving when trying to pass. The drop off and low rpm peak hp just shows how undersized the turbo is. I am not liking the results on those graphs at all. I don't know too many ways to make a motor not ping at 23+ psi on regular gasoline.
