My dealer's MR's
 

Dealers in colorado are getting 2 or 3 MRs each :( and i am on a list of about 12. They are putting madatory turbo timers, and a non negotiable MSRP. here is the email. Is this suprising?

The 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR will be arriving sometime within the next 10-14 days. All dealerships in the State of Colorado have been allocated only 2 from the intial shipment except us. We will be getting 3!

We are not going to be adding any "Market Rate Adjustments" but we will be adding Turbo Timers. The approximate additional expense is $600.

The adjusted MSRP on any of our EVO's is non-negotiable and we do not permit demo drives until approved purchase.

I personally have a waiting list of a dozen or so people that wish to be contacted the moment the truck arrives so we don't expect them to last at the dealership for very long.

I do have a great selection of GSR's in stock right now if a manual transmission is of interest.

yeah he said there is no market adjustment...but an adjusted MSRP? whats the diff?

What the heck are they mandating turbo timers be installed for? That is a rice mod that serves no real purpose on a modern turbo car. :updown:

What kind of Lexus is it? I worked at a Toyota dealership for a while and am familar with what the average trade in value should be (not what KBB says). If you really want a good price with out all those hassles check out South Coast. They'll charge you the actual MSRP and not make you pay for a turbo timer.

'04 GX470 34,500 miles. Excellant condition except minor dent in the bumper. Yeah the t-timer thing is crap

Those turbo timers are a rip off.

yeah i just wish that the dealers here got more than 2/3 on the first shipment, because i dont want to fawking wait
