Car wouldn't start!?!?

So I was driving around town looking at possible future homes for the family, I pulled into the driveway of the house, left the car in gear and shut the engine off.
After about 20 minutes we came back outside and as I tried to turn on the car...nothing, it wouldn't turn on. So I thought maybe it was my fast key losing its juice. Took out the manual key and tried that as well....nothing again. Checked my battery terminals, but everything appeared to be OK (did not appear to be due to the battery going out). I then tried again with the same key and after a few minutes it decide to turn on  This happened once or twice before, but I though it may have been because of the fast key. Have you guys had any similar issues? I read one of the other threads about the green relay (starter) and I'm thinking about replacing it just in case. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Was your wheel locked?

Mine will refuse to start everytime I accidentally lock it.

Same thing happened to me. Jump wouldn't solve the problem. My engine turned just wouldn't catch. I towed it to local mitsu dealer and the mechanic started it up ok. When he did plumes of black smoke came out the exhaust. He explained that my engine had flooded. Yea who knew. He has seen it before on mitsus and thinks that the valve might have stayed opened too long allowing gas to flood the cyclinder.
