Sounds fun but for $100 per lap I'd rather have a lapping day or two with my own car

WolvieDC Feb 11, 2010 03:47 PM

$995 :eek: . whats the cost if you bring your own evo?

mlomker Feb 11, 2010 04:02 PM

The taxes, laws, and housing costs make California a questionable choice in places to live. If I had the kind of money needed to live well in Cali then I'd just move to another country that has equally pleasant weather. {thumbup}

Perhaps the same, perhaps much more. Beating on a car is never free...clutch, tires, and potential damage might come out of a different mental bucket for you but money is money.

If you already know how to drive in the manner that they teach then you could just do some auto-x. I personally have never driven a car at the limits.

Looks like a blast but for $995 NO THANKS KEEP IT

I currently live in Arlington VA... which has lots of taxes, laws, high cost of living bs etc. :lol:

But the wapce's only family is in cali so we are planing on moving there anyway to be closer to her folks.

You realize that they actually teach you how to drive at this school. It's not just a lapping day with some instructors. Unless you're an experienced track driver the 1K youll spend on this course will most likely make you faster on a track than any mod you perform on your car.

Well worth it in my opinion.

Seems very cool if you had the cash just lying around for it, awesome regardless

It's actually $895.50 with the evom discount.

As far as using your own EVO, what's the cost of two sets of tires? I'll hazard to guess it's more than the 900 bucks.

I'm signed up. I'll let y'alls know what I thinks of it afterwards.
