Matching Fogs and DRL's to Headlight Color SSS Package

Well, the title says most of it at least.
I've got a 2008 Evo X GSR with the SSS package. I'm totally happy with the color of the headlights.
Although, I'm sure many of you have noticed, the way it's set up from the factory, the DRL's, foglights, and headlights are all different colors from one another. It's not a drastic visual issue, sure, but since it won't be a lot of money to change, I'm looking for a solution.

Can anyone recommend replacement bulbs so the DRL's and fogs would match the HID headlights? I was looking into LED bulbs as well, but I am not sure what the color is of the factory HID's. 5300k? Does anyone know that as well?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My buddy just bought all new bulbs so they can match

You can either go with yellow fogs or go with HIDs on the fogs to match your headlights. It all depends on what you're interested in and/or looking for.

I'm looking for fogs and DRL's to match up as closely as I can to the HID's.
Is there anything you can suggest for that?
It's not a huge cosmetic difference, sure, but since it's not too much cost to change, might as well right?

Also, EVO X 6950 did your buddy mention what kind of bulbs he used for the replacements?

im sure stock hids are 4300k ? i say you best bet is you replace both your fogs and headlight bulbs to the same brand same temperature..

i dont even have my DRLs plugged in on my oem projectors....

Depending on price, I might just replace all three to 6000k or so.
I do think the factory color is 4300k.

Off hand, does anyone know the types of bulbs for the daytime lights, headlights, and fogs?

I have 4300k HID fogs and they match the HID headlights perfectly.

I'm interested in this as well. I believe that Industry and Federal standards both mandate 4000-4300 for factory HIDs. You could go HID fogs but it's not a simple plug and play kit that will get the fogs look and perform correctly. You'd need projectors for the fogs. I have seen DRL LEDs on this forum and they do match and look great.

I knew there were LED replacements but I didn't know if they were matching 4300k or not... Do you have a link to the website/forum where those specific LED bulbs are? I think that would be a great solution for the DRL's.

Also, for the fogs, it would be possible to replace those bulbs with LED's as well to match the rest of the 4300k color bulbs? Or is the plastic housing colored itself?
That seems like a good solution for the fogs as well.

HudsonFalcon, do you have a link to the fogs you used as a replacement?

I replaced my fogs with the ones here:
http://autolumination.com/headlights.htm

Use this guide to source the right bulb:
http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...placementGuide

I used H11s, low wattage, and went with 'Super white' 8-8.5K because I feel they are a good match to the headlights. I know the HIDs are said to be 4.3k, but the color didn't match for me with those in LED or whatever bulbs.

I now ordered DRLs according to the guide these are 1156 bulbs. Nice thing about that LED place is they allow exchanges if the bulbs are not bright enough or dont fit, you just pay shipping back to them. My interior light switch was too dim with the LED festoons I bought so I bought new ones. I will try to get pictures of my changes if anyone wants.

So far I have swapped out the Map bulbs, Fogs, Trunk Space, and License Plate, and on order are DRLs and Back-up lights.
