Traded in 2011 STi for 2011 EVO X
Hey everybody!
Just wanted to introduce myself, My name is Kyle, Im from CT, I ordered a 2011 STi back in October of 2010, took delivery at the end of Jan. 2011. In that time till now I put 20k miles on the car and did a decent amount of Modifications. I made 305/368 tuned by EFI logics in Bethel CT. Recently my driver side valve cover blew and I was a little worried with future issues that could arise, so I went and test drove an X, thats when things changed.... Here My STI... 2011 STi Satin White Pearl. -Brand new Satin White Impreza Trunk (wingless) & stock trunk and stock STi wing -Invidia Q300 Ti tipped -Invidia Cat-less Downpipe -Invidia Uppipe -Invidia Equal Length Race Header -AEM CAI -Grimmspeed EBCS -BC coilovers -DW 850's & WB255 -Grimmspeed AOS -Kartboy SS -Kartboy Pitch Stop -25mm Ichiba v2 Spacers -Chris Magic @ 305/368 -WC shift knob Titanium -Defi Boost Gauge http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...95886675_o.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...k/IMG_2366.jpg I took everything off the car and well be parting it out, dealer gave me a hair over 30k for trade  so i was happy about that. And today this arrived at the dealer.... http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...o9k/photo5.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...k/photo4-2.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...k/photo3-2.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...k/photo2-2.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...k/photo1-2.jpg 2011 WW Evo X with Sight and Sound Package. What an awesome car! Its a night and day difference from the sti to be honest, i am much happier. Cant wait to get my hands dirty with this car :mitsu: I also worked out with the dealer to make my car wingless for me, so it will be going back into the shop in about 3 weeks to get the trunk filled and repainted. |
One of the better looking subbies for sure. Shopping around for a WW GSR myself, the anticipation is crazy.
Congrats on pick up, can't wait to join the ranks. |
Good choice. Tell me what exactly won you over compared to the STi? Steering, handling, braking, power? Seems like both cars are nice.

The sti looks good imo. Your not the only one who has traded in their 11 Sti Sedan for a 11 Evo X Gsr on this forum either.

I actually think the "fake" color of the 1st photo makes for a better color than the white imo. pretty unique and has a better texture than plain white
but welcome to the X :) |
