Aftermarket Steering Wheel, What is the Airbag Resistance?
 

Looking into purchasing an aftermarket steering wheel. Just curious if anyone know the resistance for the airbag so I can wire in resistors to keep the light off.

I've also read it was 3.3Ohms. I know airbags are very finicky so I want to make sure to get it correct.

3.0x and 3.3x are both standard sizes for resistors. I've also seen the reports that both will work, but I've done it with a 3. Have one of each and, at most, it will take 5 minutes to make the light go away.

So that is all that it take huh. Just find a 3ohm resistor and wire it across the two wires?
