Locator location: I can't locate it

So SWIM has been a bad boy lately..,,
Thinking that a state or federal bureau has placed GPS locator on the X.
Where the **** does one look for such a thing?
Assumption is it looks like a black box. (T or F)?
Size of unit? Any ideas?

Have you considered psychiatric help? Or perhaps taking off your tin foil hat?

I have no idea what this post is about, but it reads like a schizophrenic's diary.

it was in the news this week, senate voted yesterday for black boxes to be implemented by 2015---dont know if it passed or not-- no this is a real deal guys. Black box to help insurance determine drivers moves prior to an accident. And that info available to the govt agency to track how accidents are happening for "safety". And of coarse to track you---but thats not possible in first version of the black box---they cant do that rt?. BS welcome to big brother. Better start thinking about voting for the rt guy next time around and smaller govt.

I don't think he's inquiring about the black box "data recorder", I believe he is asking about the small gps trackers the fbi / police hide on peoples cars when they are investigating them.

Read a little closer---if you think gps can't be added to the Black Box--think again!
Hertz is already using it, same box to track car speed and in some states charges more to the renter of the vehicle for additional risk. One blk box enables tracking of all kinds.

You don't think they'll be watching what you post here? O.o

Yes but the FBI isn't going to come and replace your ECU crash recording box to track your location, they're going to walk up and stick a magnetic tracking device under your car and walk away. That is the point he's discussing here.
