No vin stickers on Evo X's?
 

I noticed my 2010 evo x does not have any vin stickers anywhere? I also noticed this on other evo x's too, except for the '08 evos. Does anyone know why not all X's have vin stickers on the body parts?

I'll have to go check but I thought it was passenger door on the car.

Evo suppose to have a vin # unless it was remove from previous owners.it should be JAxxxxx

He is taking about on the fenders, hood, and doors. Most cars now, including regular lancers have them. You are correct the evo does not. No clue why.

To clarify: EVERY car is required to have the vin in two places on the car. The first is the VIN plate that is on your dash under the windshield. The second is build sticker, located by your seat when you open your driver door.

Op was talking about the little rectangle black stickers that are about half An inch by one inch.

Thanks for the replies. I know about the vin tag on the dash, under the passanger seat, and passanger side body jam. It is strange why Mitsu did not include the vin stickers on the body parts. I purchased an 08 evo trunk, and the trunk had a vin sticker. Maybe it was manufacturing error that was too late to correct.
