TS bov

Do i need a tune after installing bov on 2015 evo x

The cars don't really like being vented to atmosphere, but no you shouldn't need a tune because of it. Just make sure that the spring is set correctly so it releases pressure at the right time. There should be instructions with it on how to do that. Or look up a how-to guide on here

if the car doesnt like being vented to atmosphere will it hurt the engine? will it overboost?

Nah, the only thing it's gonna do is when it does vent. You'll run a little rich because the engine thinks that air is going through the intake, so it's going to send enough fuel for all that air. When I said they don't like them, I just meant they get a little confused because the air isn't going to the intake like normal.

But running too lean is the main danger with our cars, and a BOV isn't going to do that, so you'll be fine.

Just make sure the spring rate is set correctly so it vents properly when you let off the gas and you'll be fine.
