2010 GSR Manifold Replacement

I need to replace my Manifold (cracked) on my 2010 GSR and not sure if I should stick to OEM or aftermarket upgrade. The car is mostly stock with the exception of an AP preloaded map with Cobb air filter @93 Octane Map. I autocross my car and may mod the car next year or so but no plans for the near future. Any advice? Was probably going with OEM but figured I’d get some feedback. I would rather not tune if I do not have too and not sure if an upgraded manifold would cause an issue on the current map settings. Thanks in advance!

Mods: Accessport with Cobb air filter @ 93 Octane.

I would find another stock one for $100 and run it. They last long enough that it's not worth it to upgrade.

$100 for a stock one is an option. But it WILL crack at some point, just like yours did, mine did, they all do. My time is worth to much to have to pull that every 3-6 years. I bought the MAP cast stainless manifold and won't have to replace it again. Ever. Check my build thread for pics & info about it.

I don't think you would have to change your tune, but that question everyone always asks drives me nuts... Because if I or you are WRONG, then you risk damage. Just get the car tuned, especially when you can hire a good e-tuner to do it remotely.

I’m also an advocate for the MAP investment cast manifold. I installed mine after my OEM one cracked. I recommend it if you have the spare money to spend over another stock manifold

Manifold

You should spend the extra dough on the Cast manifold, I didn't want to spend the extra cash so I had replaced it with another OE at the time. Well it cracked as well, for peace of mind buy the cast. If your flush with cash look at the tubular but it's like $400 more than the cast.
