Lowest mileage EVO X

Just wanted to see who had the lowest mileage EVO X. Mine has less than 160 miles!

Napalm_Enema May 3, 2019 02:31 PM

You won your own thread.

Now go drive your car, that's just a waste lol.

Seriously man drive it and enjoy it.
Mine has 100,360

donny_utah May 15, 2019 03:23 PM

What year? Keep it stock and it could become a collector's item in the future.

jayevo23 May 16, 2019 06:20 AM

I really don't see this car being a collector's car, but I guess we'll see

Warpath May 16, 2019 08:27 AM

2008 GSR. Just turned 41k. The built motor, new transmission, new t-case, new snail, new brakes, new suspension, new clutch, etc. all have 10k or fewer miles on them (most have fewer than 5k miles on them).

I have too many projects, unfortunately.

2010 BONE STOCK Wicked White Evo X GSR. 68,000 miles ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Who thinks the Evo will eventually end up being a "collector's car"? I do. I don't think it may be a car that gains A LOT of value in appreciation but I think they will sell for a nice price in the future. The baby boomer generations are getting older and the old classic muscle cars were the cars THEY had on their walls. People born after 1975 not only wanted Ferraris, lambo's, and Porsches but they also wanted 3000GT VR4s, MR2s, NSX, Nissan Skylines, and Toyota Supras. It fair to say that the Evo will be in this group at "some" point. Who agrees ? ?

I believe the IXs & older evos are considered classics. I just don't think the X will.

2014 X. 23k miles.
and this. Sadly. I agree. Many people think the last “real” evo was the IX.

ugakirk May 21, 2019 10:00 AM

I remember being about 17-18 and building "my" Evo IX MR online about every other day. It was something I could never afford back then. It was definitely my dream car.

But I still love the X. I think that the X will be apart of that "classic car" realm. But not as much mainly because they made them from 2008-2015 and never really changed anything. The IX was just that one special 2006. I've had a 05 Evo VIII, an 08 X, and now a 12 X. I wouldn't ever want to part ways with the Evo now. Even though I bought it with 55k miles from the original owner, and I'll put about 5k miles on it a year. Evos are just special to me.

moladin May 21, 2019 05:45 PM

That's ridiculous. LOL. I put more than 1000 miles in the first two weeks after I got the car in 2013. It's a garage queen now. GTI is my daily driver.

Pretty sure you started this thread knowing everyone here actually drives their cars.
Congrats!

It won't be a collector. Not driving it = waste of money. But it's yours, of course, so do with it (or don't) what you like.

Even my "race car" sees 3k per year. Otherwise, what's the point in even Having it?

Kaj,

You say that NOW but who knows what the future holds. Look at the prices of old NSXs. To this day, I kick my self for not buying one around 2003/2004 when you could pick up a 95-97 NSX with about 115,000 miles for about $17,000 - $20,000 EASILY. Now that same car will run you $35,000. Same thing for the Supras. I understand the reason people say the IX will be the Evo with the greatest collectability BUT I think the X will be close simply because it was the LAST Evo to be built. I live in AZ and we have car shows here (Barrett Jackson) here all the time. I know a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 sold at the last one for around $30,000. I believe the X will hold its value AT LEAST as well as any VR-4, especially if its kept stock (which increases the value substantially).
