they dont fit on the Gram Light Optimise 57, that is why.

Others may well have a second set of rims/tires....ie summers and winters or road and track.

Is there a fuse for it? I'm sure everyone tried that already.

I dont believe you can disable it, as its a federal offence to remove the sensors for some stupid reason. Every 08+ new will will come with the sensors. From base model kia's to whatever

I hope someone finds that, as well as the airbags in the seats. That would make my year.

i called a tire shop and it costs about $150 to put the tpms in the new wheels. Kinda sucks that it is so expensive. I would rather get some more parts and deal with the light

Its a pain because you have to pay for the tires to be taken off old rims to even get them out. That light is going to drive me crazy.

You must like being taken advantage of.
Americas Tire/Discount Tire did not charge if you bought tires from them. It cost me $14 in washers and a 10 tip to the tire guy for taking care of my grams

This is probably something guys like Cobb need to address with their AP's

We run into this issue with Jeeps in the shop all the time, the new Wranglers specifically. Companies like AEV and Superchips that do the programmers for those do not make functions to disable them in the ECU (as said above there's legality issues with that) but have a workaround. They instead have a function to set the PSI threshold. This allows us to program it to 0psi, and then we no longer have issues.

ive done a couple sets of aftermarket wheels and the tpms sensors fit the aftermarket wheels... if you dont want to brake down the old wheels and remove sensors then you have to buy new sensors and register them to vehicle...only one set of sensors can be register to a vehicle at one time.. so if put old ones on for autocross or something then light will set codes and will have to be erased when registered sensors are reinstalled.

No one with a business is going to disable the TPMS. its Illegal. No one is going to make a program or offer a service to disable it and get paid. everyone else is free to try.
