AUX cable help
I just picked up an 08 Evo X with the rockford system minus the Nav. How do I use the aux connection in my car so I can stream pandora in the car? I picked up an aux cable that goes red/white cable to 3.5mm jack.

you plug the red and white side into the car and the other side into your audio device and then push and hold the cd button on the left to put it into AUX mode and VOILA!

You should just be able to plug it up and hit the AUX button on the system and play Pandora through the speakers. That's what I do.

once you plug the audio Y cable to your device and the car, you need to keep the CD button depressed until you see "AUX" on your display. Start playing music from your aux device and it should just work.

i suggest testing sound quality first, some audio devices on MAX will reduce quality and cause distortion, a couple clicks shy of max and then turn it up on the radio may sound better

If you get static, pick up a ground loop isolator. PAC makes one that just plugs between your aux cable and your device, filters out almost all of the high frequency distortion.
