Evo x ayc install question

Ayc pump took a dump was fortunate enough to get a replacement from a fellow evom member. Now install looks pretty straight foward but being this my first evo always better safe to just ask

With the ayc will I need a evo x scan tool or can I just bolt off and bolt on the new pump?

you need a scan tool or there is now a software program released for bleeding it when you install it. i believe tephra is the one with the software for bleeding it if you have a tactrix cable. if not then most likey after replacement you will have to take it to a shop or the dealer to fix it
