Hello my bruddahs!

So, I have a problem, with my a.c. going I get a weird acetone like smell, I stopped and let the car cool down, and it went away, but after 5 minutes of driving, it came back. It's VERY strong, and when it's not stinking up the cabin, it's coming out the exhaust. Also, I was on the freeway and there was a whine, like if something isn't turning. Like, take a dc motor, the small ones, and turn it without it being powered. It sounds like that type of whine. What the hell can I do??? And NO MY WIFE DID NOT DROP NAIL POLISH REMOVER, SO DON'T ASK! IT'S NOT THAT! Thanks guys for your input, unless you say she dropped NAIL polish remover...

Could it be the blower motor for the HVAC system?

Does it happen with the AC off / fan only?

Does it stink if you switch to recirculated?

Could be a whole host of things.....
