Seriously guys, I checked dozen of threads for this. How do I install the shifter base bushing? I removed center console, and removed the 4 bolts but there is not enough room to make to remove the stock bushings? Also how do you put the new bushing? From the top or underneath the base?

 

I pushed the metal center piece of the stock bushings downwards and pried the rubber off with a screwdriver. I installed the metal bushings from under the base. Good luck!

 

Metal center comes out first, so rubber can compress and pop out. If like the 8/9 bushings, half on the bottom, half on the top, put the bolt through both.
