Is the inside of the wing plastic? That looks really cheap, IMO

You mean the SSS package higher wing? I thought it was carbon fiber but I'm not sure...

yep looks the same as the GTS setup if you have the fastkey there is a little button on the trunk (that key hole looking thing) if you have the base model with no fast key there is nothing .. you can only release the trunk from the inside or the remote entry system on the key.

my GTS dosent have SS package and my trunk has no key hole or button. (yea looks way better without :P)

So my question is: I briefly looked at a X with all available options at the dealer. The key had this HUGE block about half the size of a pack of cigarettes stuck to it.
Is this the way the keys for the FAST system look? There is no way I am packing something like that around in my pocket all day.

Fast Key is just a remote that you carry. There is a metal key that is embedded inside incase you need to use the physical key (dead battery, etc). The first picture has the SSS package. That rear key "hole" is a button. The SSS package also has the higher wing like the one on the upcoming MR

The bottom picture does not have the SSS package, but it has the AERO package which consists of side skirts, front lip, and rear bumper side flares...

Hope this clears everything up.

That remote with the key looks huge. They need to consider making it smaller for those of us that don't carry a purse.

Dont be so dramatic, The remote is not that big. In fact, the wife's lexus key is bigger than this.... I recommend you see it in person. I am so glad I got this feature on my car. Finally I dont have to be jealous of the wifes Lexus anymore...

9 remote on left, X remote/FAST key in the middle, Lexus "fast key" on the right.

It's not that big. I manage to carry mine iniside the tiny little pocket on the right hand side of my jeans all the time.

The key is pretty much the size of every other car key. It's not huge.

What you saw was probably the alarm-box-thing that goes on the key at the dealer's.

nope it's black plastic....it should have been carbon fiber for how much it cost. Yeah I have the SSS package with the FAST key option and I just have a button on my trunk to press to open it, no key holes. And the remote is not big at all
