Wow, it looks much better with the aero-kit. It makes the Evo X look more aggressive.

 

I think the X looks boring and plain and too high off the ground without the stock aero kit on it, thats why I got mine with one.

 

it looks nice. everyone will end up buying some aero kit because of the road rash, might as well be oem.

 

I finally figured out why the X looks "different" to me... or "bulky" if I must say...

It's the windows... theyre really SMALL. Makes the door panels look HUGE.

 

I wouldn't ever get the ground effects package. With all the people I drive I'm sure it'll be used as a runner and some girl's heel will shoot through it.

 

I don't have a problem with stepping on it...never have, probably never will (not a girl, and no, no heels). And I don't see how anyone can manage to.

One problem I do have is, when I get out of the car, the thigh of my first leg out seems to push against it.

No harm done there though, my thighs aren't made of metal.

 

That definately is going to be a problem in deep snow...

 

Your thigh? dont you mean the back of your leg? or are you a little person?

 

I think the aero definitely adds to the aggressive look of the Evolution X.

Clearly we can see from the photos above that if you lower it then it shines even more.

 

I got the aero kit and I think it makes the car look a lot better. Really makes it stand out from other cars. It makes the back and front look meaner and the sides make it look a lot wider. Though the side skirts catch puddles of dirty water when it rains..... thats a pain in the ***.

 

I also dont like them. I visited the dealer and decided the X looks much better w/o the ground effects. The front lip is the only decent looking part, but Im sure the aftermarket will supply plenty of better looking alternatives.

 

Good call. Never really noticed that till you pointed it out.

 

I would have never get an Evo X without the kit..I like the oprion and dont regret it.

I don't mind the kit. I just think it looks strange with the stock rollers. Throw some buffness under the fenders and you have a different story …
