Lip looks great...much less intrusive than the stock Aero kit, less likely to scrape as well.

So, what ever happened to this lip? Was it truly ever produced or was it a stagged set up?

Ya, they are (or were) in production. You should be able to buy one through Bulletproofautomotive.com ..they're a sponsor here, and their website still has both the CF and FRP versions listed.

This is probably my #1 favorite front lip spoiler for the X so far.. hopefully Jason at BP will chime in, and let us know if they're still available.

They are made to order by Do-Luck. I have been waiting almost 5 months for mine and it will likely be here next week. Still in production on Do-Lucks end.....

C'mon guys, easy with the necro bumping of a 2 year old thread started by a now defunct sponsor.

Anyway, yes they are still available for purchase in either CF or FRP. Average lead time is 8-10 weeks including production and overseas shipping. Some orders have been delayed because of the unfortunate circumstances in Japan over the past few months, thanks for your patience and understanding.

PM me for pricing.

Thanks,

- Jason

I dont understand what the "Easy with the necro bumping".

I did a search on something that I thought was interesting instead of creating a new thread asking everyone about it and found this. Now we all know that you have the ability to get these bumpers and can PM you about it. I would say that its a worth while bump for newbs to the forum, which is what a forum community is all about, Information Sharing.

What are the odds that ordering this lip is actually worth it though? 10 weeks? Holy **** thats almost a full semester of college.

How hard did you search? This was posted a few months ago.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-luck-lip.html

How does length of time it takes a company in Japan to produce a product + overseas shipping equate to somethings "worth"? These aren't just sitting around in a corner of a warehouse...they are made to order.

8-10 weeks is standard fare for anything special ordered from Japan that is arriving via ocean freight. There is always an option of air freighting the item which cuts down on cost, but obviously that's more expensive.

My wheels took 6 months from Japan -- just the nature of the beast, these things don't just magically appear, quality takes time.
