Well, it's clearly obvious one's an upgrade and one's a downgrade. And I'm pretty sure "rice" mods are aimed at being an "upgrade."

Going from a stock Ralliart wing to an Evo wing, is the "upgrade" mentioned in my first sentence, but in this case, this "upgrade" has no performance purpose, which unfortunately can/will lead some to believe that's a "rice" modification.

On the other hand, going from stock Evo taillights to Ralliarts is a "downgrade," as we're actually taking the less expensive cars part. And I'm pretty sure none of us Evo owners are aimed towards trying to "look like the Ralliart."

We can summarize rice as "being something it's not." (in terms of performance)

You can put the Evo spoiler on a Ralliart, which leads us to believe you're trying to look more similar to an Evo. Something you're not.

No, an X owner will put the RalliART tails cuz he likes them better then OEM

Like I did, the RalliART wing IMO is ugly so I put the EVO wing cuz its better looking ...

And if a guy put a EVO wing on his Lancer thinking he will transform into a EVO is mainly stupid.


And saying ''downgrade'' when putting RA tails on a X is ... ( well I won't say what I think but hey you got the point ...) Its just plastic in another color man, I hope you will be able to sleep at night if you downgrade your X ...

 

By "downgrade" I don't mean quality wise or anything like that. I mean downgrade by putting the lower cost cars part into your more costly car. Just can't find a better way to put it.

But honestly, in my opinion, comparing spoilers to taillights just doesn't do it.

If a Ralliart puts Evo taillights I don't think anyone's gonna have a problem with that.
