I was wondering what is the red hoop hanging on the rear bumper? i have seen them on the front as well and was curious?

the scca requires track cars to have a towing apparatus mounted on them in case they need to be pulled from gravel traps and the like. it looks somewhat awkward the way its been mounted off the bumper, but im quite certain thats what it is

Ebay has them for about 60 (obviously not HKS). I dont think it fits USDM Xs without some drilling...

 

Yeh, DC_TypeR is right, thats the HKS rear tow hook.
You can pick one up at japanparts.com or a few other vendors on evom has them too.

They have a front tow hook as well. I remember seeing a thread somewhere, where someone had to drill the bumper to be able to fit the tow hook but I can't find the thread since my search function isn't working for me.
