Don't get it. It has horrible fitment issues. I'm looking to buy the OEM FQ one and just take this as a $250 loss. Or sell it cheap since it has been modified to sit flush.

Hm, I thought the APR one was supposed to be a better fit for the SSS packaged X's... more so than the Chargespeed one... Any confirmation on this? And how much is that FQ360 VG gonna put you back, given you're gonna fork out some Sterling?

for some reason I associate mods with performance.....though i'm sure that one could argue a shift knob into performance somehow...

There are weighted shift knobs (some at 1lb.) that would be considered a performance mod, as it creates a smoother and more of a positive shift feel. Maybe it helps with shift speed as well....? Matter of fact, doesn't ARC make a weighted knob?

Modifying the car in any way is a mod.

The APR is designed to fit the SSS antenna base, but it doesn't sit flush at all with the curvature of the roof. The part of the VG that covers the antenna base sticks up and will not lay flat. You have to either cut that part off or put some kind of filler under the part that's sticking up so that it doesn't look so whack.
