Rexpeed LHD Pillar Gauge Pod

I've had a Defi 52mm Boost gauge sitting on the shelf for months now, and just finally got the chance to mount it. I had just been waiting for a good gauge mounting solution. I decided to go with the Rexpeed Pillar Pod. I might change it around later if/when I need more gauges.

Please excuse the pictures, it was dark out and this was the best I could do in my garage.

Where did you route the wires into that gauge pod? I ordered the same gauge pod from them but I don't know how to route the wires into it without having them exposed in front of the left side vents. I was going to route it through the steering wheel gap up and in front of the left side vents. I don't want to remove any of the dash pieces. Do you know of another way?

I have a hole drilled in the pillar hidden behind the Rexpeed piece. From there you just route the wiring down the pillar and it ends up right near the fuse block in the driver knee panel.

The pillar is held in by several clips but can be removed without removing any other dash pieces.

No, that is the Mitsubishi JDM Double DIN dash piece. It fits way better than the Metra kit.

I had the Metra kit installed temporarily for about a week as I waited for the Mitsu JDM Double DIN dash to arrive. The Metra kit just doesn't fit the dash contours right, and requires a lot of tweaking to remove the gaps.

From what I have read on the forums, Rexpeed is working on a 2 gauge pillar pod too. I am not sure if it is an add-on like this or a whole new pillar.
