AGREED! I thought I wanted new rims before I painted mine and I love the way they look now with a good powdercoat.

 

i am glad i went with grids, I hope i like them in person.

Reason being, is the stockers (minus the concave look) are very similiar to the gforce, minus 2 spokes.

I was going to paint the stockers bronze, but i think that i will go flat black and just change them out with the grids depending on the mood i am in.

 

G force coz those look like advan.. Grid and TE37 are played out imho

 

you guys are making me regret jumping on the grids lol. I just couldn't wait, and really want to look good for the charity show i am hosting. I am sure i will be happy with both, but i am one of those people that always regrets spending money no matter how much i like what i bought. /shrug o well I will rock'em, and if i don't like them i will sell and move on.

 

i'd say grids just because of the 9.5

who still uses the word "epic" nowadays, that is so played out haha. In all fairness, the Evo X itself is a showcase for little kids and adults alike to get inspired into sports cars/sedans scene. Keep it up oftheheavens.

i would save and get volks or bbs'. You can prolle get a used bbs or volks for cheap too! Might as well since you're going to replace the rota's after a year n e ways! just a thought. By the end of the day its up to you

 

F**k fake wheels. save your money for the real sh*t, you will feel better about it in the end.

 

truthfully i would probably feel worse for not having that extra 3g's in my pocket and having wheels that look the same. Like i said before, I am down for spending money on quality, or proven parts, but eastern NC has horrible roads. My stockers got bent within 4k miles, and I am really careful watching for potholes. So anyways i would rather spend that extra 3g's on mods, or family or whatever.

Dang. You already bent the stock wheels? Man. I would think rota's would be easier to bend because they are cast wheels.

 

How much do Grids weigh? I do like the 6 spokes
