These race to the cloud events always have such a huge pucker factor for me to even watch. I don't know if I could even run one...

It's an uber-rare 2008 Evo IX. It has the X body with an IX drivetrain.

Nice article. It would take ***** of iron or chutzpah to drive up a mountain road sans guard rail. Great to see a nice write up about Rob and his wife and their amazing Evo X. I am also glad to see that the Evo is the kind of car that excels in this type of competition. Thanks Rob for the good read!
