Wassup X guys, I shared this in the IX thread but this product is a good investment if you own a Yakima rack. It is very thick and helps protect the paint. I've been using it since day 1 when I purchased my car in 06.

Roof rack is made by Thule. I didn't drill anything - it's '11 GSR and it has mounting points... also it's EU version - don't you have mounting points in US version?

I've been looking for something like that. My only concerns are that it's kind of expensive for only 4 pieces. I believe you could buy a roll of lamin-x and get more material for the same price.

The other issue is, it doesn't cover the Q clips that go in the jambs. I noticed some scratching there on my Civic, so I'm looking for some extra protection before I put the rack back on my GSR.

I bought rolls of those lamin-x.. it's a pain in the ***.. very hard to put on non flat surfaces.. it gets dirty on the edge really fast.. and I wasted through rolls trying to make it look nice.

it'll be nice to have some pre cut ones.. I'll pay 20$ for it

mine..

I'll keep you updated, but this afternoon I just stopped at a vinyl shop and the guy gave me some gloss white vinyl. I'm going to try to cut that to look nice. He also cut some small round stickers to protect where the fairing touches.

Hopefully I'll have it installed soon. Waiting on some of the Q Clip pads currently.
