RedlineGoods steering wheel wrap

Hey guys...just installed a perforated leather wrap from RedlineGoods using light grey thread to match my boot with the same materials. As from my previous experience the quality is top notch and everything needed was included with the order. Wrapped over the stock leather and it took about 3 hours from start to finish. Let me know if it turned out well in your opinions. Excuse the phone pics

So how did you go about installing it? How difficult?

Looks awesome!

There are three videos on YouTube that redline put up I watched them to get a base idea of what to do....there are a few different ways to do the stitching...I didn't want to do the basic way of just going back and forth so I did every two and it turned out well...wasnt hard just time consuming

Looks great! In the video they say to remove the old leather by cutting it off..was the install any harder bc you went over the old leather..what I mean is did you have to stretch it over more to compensate?

the only part that was any trouble was the four seams where the original leather was stitched together....in the second to last pic you can see whe slight hump...those areas were a little harder to pull together but I just threaded each loop intead of every 2 then went back to doing every 2 again...and if you use the regular thread design that is suggested it will be cake

Glad it was an easy painless install. It turned out great, nice job matching everything, thats the best part of redline goods. You can match everything.

it looks like the leather doesnt wrinkle as much as the alcantara that i got, but its still top quality materials.

Did you apply glue to to install these? Also which carbon piece is that *(company), and last question, did you have to remove the steering wheel to install this?

You are supposed to apply glue but I took a chance without the glue and there really isn't any play at all...there was some yesterday but its solid now...the cf center is the Rexpeed one...fitment was about 95% before...you could tell it wasn't stock if you looked close enough but now is flush all around and looks much better I think...and yeah I had to take the wheel off...it wasn't hard...there is a really good writeup on the Bluetooth install
