Where do you get $1300 from?
I bought an entire kit with spray gun and all for less then $400. Even if you did chameleon or some pearl it would only be around $600 total.
If the $1300 is a shops quote to spray PD they are ripping you big time... there's 2 shops near me that do it and they charge 500-600 for an evo sized car

Ya, you would think I got ripped because of the shop you are getting the quote from but it was a REALLY quality job. I mean the took off everything on my car to spray it, all of the weather stripping, the door handles, the headlights, tail lights, side marker lights, rear view mirrors, everything on the under side the hood....I mean everything. They sprayed inside of the door jams. The car actually looks painted because of the great coverage. I mean, look at the hood in this picture where the hood is up. You pay 500-600 dollars to get it done and they will tape the car up and spray it and be done. Plus these guys are DYC certified. The DYC website directed me there because they were licensed by DYC to do cars.

Well I guess I wasn't the only person thinking it looked like vinyl...Jeeze that came out super good I would have to say! All the black panels on my car right now are plasti out of a spray can tho and they have a little texture to them and I can never keep it clean. Coming out of a gun must really make that big of a difference!

Appreciate it guys. Here is a couple updated pics, took some of the plastidip off and put my spoiler back on. It has been off for 3 years now. Guess it was time to wipe the dust off of it. I would like to have the high rise spoiler because this one gets right in my view in the rear view mirror. I dunno tho.
