Aftermarket sideskirts vs. Aero-kit sideskirts

Did anyone install any aftermarket sideskirts?
Are they effective as the Aero-kit ones to protect the painting?
If it's so and if they dont give all the troubles of Aero-kit ones, please post the kit you installed.
I hope this thread could be helpful to choose the right kit for those who'd like to get the Aero-kit only for the sideskirts painting protection, but are afraid of their frequent coming off.
(please forgive my english :D)

I would imagine any skirt that sticks out as much as the OEM aero-kit will provide the same level of protection.

I'm considering buying the Rexpeed cf side skirt extensions. I would think they'll help a little with the rock chips, even though the underside of them will probably get destroyed. I think they'll look good with the APR windsplitter {thumbup}

Mud flaps??

a sideskirts kit is a more 'elegant' solution than mud flaps (at least to me)
