Tall wing install on my non-SSS GSR!
I bought the tall wing for my Evo from here and got it installed today with my dad. I'm so happy with it!!!!!!

so how was the install?? have to make any new holes or did it just bolt right up using the old wings holes?

You have to drill 4 new holes and fill in 2 holes with epoxy. 2 of the old holes work. Everyone on the Internet says it's easy but it took about 3.5 hours and required quite a few tools. I thought about doing a write up on how to do it but I was so nervous about the installation I totally forgot to take pictures. :(

i installed the big wing on my non sss evo too,2 original hole u can use ,but u have to drill 2 more new hole to make it fit.

Very nice! I'm getting mine installed tomorrow. I have no confidence in drilling holes on my car, so I'm gonna take it to a shop to get it installed.
And yes I must agree, either do the SSS spoiler or have no spoiler! |
