Unfortunately I purchased this color from mitsu about a month ago for a few touch up spots, and it turned out horrible.. :crap: Im not an artist or anything, but i know how to use a paint stick. The color applied VERY dark, then dried VERY dark. When i contacted them, they told me it would require a base, then the second coat, and finally the clear. I am not sure how well you can do that on a rock chip using a paint stick with clear on one end and the paint on the other

i have one.it doesnt do any good.its horrible as silverfox9 stated.you can just take the paint out of the pen.thats what i did and use my water color brush to cover those rock chips.it did a little better but still noticeable if you really look hard on it....

Mitsubishi's touch-up paint is the dual brush/pen kind? Pen only? That's no good. Pens don't work well on paint chips, only scratches. And even then I'd still prefer a brush. How did you take the paint out of the pen?

I need some for my WW X, too. Any other alternatives?

i used it on my RR and it came out pretty good. the color comes pretty close, although still not perfect. but you won't expect a perfect match from a pen anyway. they also have a chisel-type pen, very effective for small chips.

^ which one did u get, the "basecoat pen"?

Moostafa29 Aug 3, 2009 12:50 PM

I got one of these and they are pretty bad. I have WW, and it looks like I just put white out on the spot.

yeah i used the basecoat pen and a clearcoat pen afterwards. all their pens are chisel tipped not ball point tipped i believe.

Went to the stealership for the weightless white touch up pen and was told that it was superceded by wicked white (as stated in OPs post)...how the HELL does that work? They are 2 different colors. I bought it anyway and sure enough, it doesn't match. Also, the pen is no good on rock chips..FAIL.

Mitsubichi in Lubbock SUCKS!

I ordered the whicked white pen ( W37 W83 MZ313359 ) but they gave me Igloo White ( W37 MZ313359 ). I was wondering if they are two completely difrenet colors and alos how does the WW touch up paint look for rock chips?
