Photos of my blacked out headlights

Sooo I finally got the guts to bake my headlights and black out the housings (mostly). Left a bit of chrome to accent the light and do something a bit different. If you want to find out how to do this I did a writeup here:

As long as you have an oven, 10 and 12mm socket, screwdriver, masking tape, pliers, 6 bucks for plasti-dip and 6 bucks for silicone sealant you can do it yourself. Honestly I was a little nervous but the most difficult part was getting the bumper off, getting the courage to bake a headlight housing, and getting the masking tape not to pull the plasti-dip coating off with it since it is very latex-like.

maybe ill try it..the final product looks like is def worth the worry and the hassel

I think it was. Big thing is to take your time. Use an exacto knife to cut the tape so you have clean edges, re-go-over the tape edges with the knife before you pull it up (only needed if your using plasti-dip), and make sure you spray even coats. Other than that the rest is pretty easy, although nerve racking...
