My Evo's Project build for the Sema Show

What's going on everyone? I just returned from the Sema show and finally uploaded photos of the new Forgestar CF5 wheels, Toyo R888 265/35/18 tires, Carbon Lip, Carbon OEM Diffuser and Girodisc Stage 4 Kit. The new wheels are my track setup (Yes I know they will get dirty quickly) but I just wanted to stray away from gold and Matte Black and try something different. I didnt drive up on the R888's because it would have been a pain to keep clean and you only get so much tire life out of a R compound tire. I also installed alot of suspension and engine components that I will be posting up here shortly or you can go to my build site www.projectsteez.com where I will have photo and video updates weekly
My buddy got some rolling shots for me

those wheels look sweet, and the price is a bargain. what size and offset did you get? do you have the weight?

those gold wheels are sick...and i love your front license mount  !! i cant tell you how many times i've watched your youtube video...

Hahah thanks I actually took the license plate off last month when I put the carbon lip on because I dont know if the carbon lip could hold the weight. The surprising thing about it I never hit anything with that license plate being that low :D

Your rears are just rolled? They looked rolled and pulled to me. I need to do something for mine, it's rub city in the back.

Either way, good looking car.

They are rolled but for some reason they pulled slightly when we were rolling them it was a pain because the Mitsubishi paint isnt the best and started to chip like crazy on the inner part of the fender.

Yeah, I got cracks in mine already from a shop who did a failed roll job (not aggressive enough). So I'm going to do it myself and then touch up whatever happens.

+1 for the youtube video...The white wheels are different. A nice touch though. Ultimatley when you see a RR Evo you'd expect bronze/gold/or black wheels on it, so this is refreshing.

I took pictures of your evo at SEMA. It looks very clean. I have been meaning to post pictures of the different Evo's at SEMA.

I like the carbon oem diffuser, know of anyone making one for single outlet exhaust? :( I'm about to build my exhaust with burns mufflers and only want to use one. lol

Yeah the entire strip of paint came off of mine, apparently the 2010's use some type of seam sealer, I used plenty of heat too. :( The trick to rolling them is to start in the center at the top and roll it just flat then back off and work the rest, the rest fore and aft to get the lip rolled.. If you just roll front to back it catches that little support bend they put in at the top and pulls the fender out.
