played out RPF1's on WW Evo X

So i got my car washed after mounting the wheels yesterday, fenders are rolled in the rear dropped on Swift sports. no rubbing in the rear. very very slight in the front on full lock, i'll take a heat gun to it when i get back from cali. wheels are Enkei RPF1's 18x9.5 +15 SBC finish. tires are Kumho XS 265/35/18. Muteki SR48 Open ended lugs in the neo chrome finish. car's got 1100 miles and still waiting for the turbo to get here before the power parts go on. i was gonna stay stock turbo but what the heck. 400 whp is the goal, and less than 400wtq as i'll stay on the stock block for now.

Hey man I also have a 2012 and looking into swift sports with a 9.5 rim but keep the stock 245 tire? Think it would rub at all? Looks great BTW!!!

Depends on the offset of the wheel. On a +15 like the rpf1 it'll be close. I think you'd still need a very slight roll

on a +20 or +22 on stock tires and swift sports you'll be fine, no roll needed. i'd be very surprised if you get any rubbing at all.

Dude car is tits!! good work for sure...now I got a question for you since you seem to have the wheel crap down...its the one things I've never been able to fully wrap my head around....The car will be here on the 6th of thext month so I cant see this in person...but I have Tein s.Tech sitting at my house waiting for the car.. I will be getting Rota p45r's sometime and was wondering if it would be better to go with the offset at 20 or 30?? and whats the widest tire I can throw on without rolling?? the rims are 18x9.5 and the ones with +20 have a bore of 67.1 while the +30's have a hub bore of 70...thanks for the help in advance man..I know this is not the place to ask :crap:

hub bore doesn't really matter for wheel fitment, i would however purchase some hubcentric rings to make sure the wheels are centered on the hub. as for no rolling you could probably get away with the 18x9.5 +20 on the stock 245/40/18 tires size but it will be close, i don't have first hand experience on the s. techs but i know they drop more than the Swift sports so it may rub after all, any bigger than the stock tire size you would rub, the +20 offset is going to look much better, but if you don't want to worry about rubbing the +30 is the safe bet. why not roll? if you want to make it to virginia i'll help you out.

I appreciate that dude, Thats a trip and half though lol. I will be coming through there in August on my way to OBX but I wont be taking the EVO. I dont really have a problem rolling them I've just heard how the evos fenders are easy to mess up when doing a roll. Thats why I was hoping to avoid rolling them..I've seen some on here without rolls that seem to not rub according to ppl and are sitting on springs and wider tires...thats why ive always been confused about the whole measurement/fit thing:confused:

honestly the roll isn't too bad, easier than the sti's i've done. as long as you go slow and use plenty of heat, the roll and pull is actually pretty easy. anything +20 or less offset, wider tires, and any drop more than likely some kind of roll is going to be needed. the swift sports are about as mild as they get as far as drop goes and on my +15's i think the 245's would be very close.

I did my buddys s2k last summer..and it was pretty easy but ive never done an x's...gotta track down a fender roller again tho lol
