need help with bc coilovers

hi i recently installed bc coilovers on my evo x , i got it done at a performance shop now the rear makes a cluncking sound every time i go over bumps, little ones, over the big bumps its fine no problem at all, the shop cannot figure out what it is, they installed my original suspension and the car continue to make that noise,so now its not the coilovers, i have no idea what it could be, and the shop is scratching their heads as well, it sounds like metal on metal like something is loose, any help would be apperiaciated thankyou

Are there rubber bushings in the rear? If not its just the spring hitting the perch. Metal on metal contact= noise.

It's not a big deal, my Zeals make some noise too.

It's pretty normal with coilovers that have pillowball upper mounts. I had a rear clunking on all the 6 coilover sets I've owned on various cars - everything from megans to ohlins. Rubber upper mounts = no clunking.

I don't see how this issue is related to BC coilovers. The problem was still there after turning the car back to stock suspension. Seems like a bad job to me by the shop.

it came to my attention that they only changed one side of the car to original and then tested it so the noise was still there, so i guessing it was the coilovers, i contacted bc and they make a rubber option so i will be getting a set of these hopefull this fixes the problem

What is the rubber option? It has rubber upper mounts instead of pillowballs?
