KW suspension on BR's EVO X.

Robert Fuller, Robispec, came into town again this week. I had ordered a set of KW's for the EVO X. He came in to install and align the car and also set up an EVO8 for me for TT with NASA this year.

I had my doubts about the KW's and how they would ride, I warned Robert I didn't want a harsh ride, he gauranteed me I'd be happy.

He was right.

I am very-very happy with the suspension. The car handled pretty good before but had too much body roll for my liking. It's handles flat as can be now, turn in is rediculous. I have personally NEVER driven any car that handles this well.

The ride is excellent. There is a little more harshness if you hit a very abrupt bump, like a hard rise in the pavement. It is not much worse than stock in that situation but is the only noticeable change. The normal ride is, from all I can tell, the same as the stock ride. Very happy.

I want to thank Robert for a super clean install, perfect alignment and leading me down the right path on the suspension.

Also, the KW front struts are lighter by 7 pounds each than the factory front strut. The rear as the same weight. This left the nose 14 pounds lighter.

We are a distributor for these and can arrange installation, alignments and such for Robert to come back to your shop, for anyone interested. We have corner scales, laser alignment, camber gauges and such.

I'll get some pictures of the car up next week, the new stance is SWEET. Now it just needs more rubber and some nice light wheels.

Well we jumped in the EVOX this morning. Myself, wife and two kids. Took off for the day. Ended up driving probably close to 200 miles.

I am very impressed, even my wife didn't complain. As a matter of fact the ride was good and so was the sound level of the exhaust. This is a huge change over my RS as she HATES that car. Says it rides to rough, it's too loud and it so fast it is going to kill us! haha

There are some really really bad freaking roads right now in Ohio, they need repaired badly. They have "fixed" them by putting up signs that say "Bumps ahead, 45 mph" yeah, that's great you bastards, how about some concrete or new asphault? Douche bags. Anyway, even on those roads the ride was very good.

Great suspension, HIGHLY recommend it.

I think I have the same setup as David@buschur. Robi installed and tuned it for me. It's one of the nicest suspension upgrade that I got for the money.
