So many people swear by the KW ones. I personally went with Tein Mono Flex, I wanted the camber plate upper mounts. The KW ones require you to disassemble your stock struts to reuse the upper mount, which results in quieter operation, atleast thats what I have been told. Just my $0.02.

Nope. Tell me about it. There are quite a few that don't.

AST is worth checking out too. They seem to be the new hot track/autox coilover that a lot of people are ditching KW for.

You will have to wait until late fall for the ASTs. There has been 1 run and those have not made it over yet...besides. You should wait until people have them on cars and you can get reviews.

I have RobiSpec clubsport KWs right now but I am going to try the ASTs (have order for one of the first run). Not that the KWs are bad. I have another car with them stock and I can easily adjust them from a stock like ride to a very good track setup. The RobiSpec clubsport KWs handle very very well and but I live where the roads are just horrible and want to go down on spring rate and try a monotube strut. Overall, I like the RobiSpec KWs and even in the Clubsport (you can get softer streets set up) are livable for DD for most of my driving. If you live where the roads don;t get destroyed by winter they are pretty great. Stock KWs will be fine for autocross and a little better for DD.

Additionaly, I like the fact the KWs use the stock mounts. Only reason to change is if you are really going hardcore toward a racing car.

KW~2K
KW Robispec'd streets~2.4k, clubsports ~2.8k
AST 4100 ~1.9K
HKS~2K

I don't have faith in Megans and limited also for Cusco.

The KW Clubsports come with upper mounts. I think adjustable too for camber.

you might want to look into the AST Suspension.
Also i do not think you can get an Ohlins under 2k.

I've heard that AMR can be had for under $2k. They have good Internet buzz on the other forum but I personally couldn't say.

I have the Robi Street KW and like them well enough. They aren't very firm but they aren't meant to be.

I just ordered Robispec clubsports and they don't come with adjustable tophats. They do however come with a free robispec rear sway if you sweet talk them for $2800 shipped.
