I noted today in a parking deck, the drive was smooth but had a an up and down slight roll, this roll in the drive made the clunk noise a lot, and there was almost no movement in the suspension.

this is actually driving me nuts. standing in the door of the car and making it go up and down makes no noise, it seems only when the wheel is push twards the back of the car it happens as a smooth roll bump would do this.

I have the same issue... low speed doesnt happen all the time. Light pop I thought it was related to my whiteline sway bar but if some guys are saying it might be CV related then I'll definitely have to inspect. Will let you guys know... (btw 6k miles)

Ok, I made some progress, Using a large pry bar, we found the strut bushing (top) on the drivers side will move with force (takes a lot like driving a 3500lb car) while the passanger side it solid. So it appears it is the strut bushing after all, although it takes a LOT to see it bad. I will order new bushings and post the results back.

I have similar symptoms, but the noise seems to be coming from the front passenger side on my car...

I think it's definitely shock/spring related. Has anyone changed out there OEM shocks and springs with coilovers and seen the knocking go away??

Tighten your front strut brace bolts.

Try that. 33 +/- 5 ft-lb is the torque spec.

Sometimes coilovers make noises from the spring. When turning the wheel the spring binds and makes a popping/klacking noise.

Ok, so today i went to the dealer to get my front driver side clicking noise checked out. It turns out my lug nuts weren't tighten/ torqued enough. I usually torque it to 80lbs. Since I run a 5mm spacers in the front the master mechanic recommended me to torque it to 95lbs. Also to check it after every track run.

Anyways the clicking noise is gone.

ok so try that method first check 3 nuts on top of ur spring. If the noise still there, then try to check the top hat nut on the center of absorber, but u hv to remove the rubber cover first. I did my and the noise was gone. then next day i noticed the same clacking noise NOT from my FL , but from my RR. lol... keep it coming....
