ABS issues

ABS issues

Heys guys i am a noob but i did search before i decided to post
so i wanted to know if when i replace my faulty ABS sensor do i need to go get the car scanned for the ABS and ASC lights which are lit up right now or will the car read the new sensor automatically and just remove the alerts?

Which ABS sensor? (There are a lot of them on an Evo X.) Do you mean a wheel-speed sensor? If so, as soon as it is fixed, the system should start working again and the light should go out on its own.

jus makin sure i don't have to go to a stealership to get it cleared if i change it myself
