JRZ Clunking in rear

Hey guys!

So I have about 2600 miles on my car and JRZ suspension. I have the JZR RS ONE's and it's been amazing so far. The ride is really unbelievable. Anyways when I go over a severe bump but mainly making a turn over a bump I get this loud clunking in the rear.

I tried calling my contact at JRZ and his phone is disconnected and the website is down

Anyone have any thoughts? Is this normal?

http://www.jrzusa.com/ site works. They should answer their phone.

Do you have tender springs? If not, they might help if the noise is spring related http://www.vorshlag.com/product_info...roducts_id=253

AMS is an authorized jrz dealer. Maybe they can sort you out. https://www.amsperformance.com/contact/contact-us

from experience, clunking is common when the top hats are loose. Since they're new, maybe they werent exactly torqued to spec. I would try tightening the top hats again.

I've been having a hell of a time finding someone that makes aftermarket spherical top hats for rear coilovers for our car. There's like 1 or two companies, but they don't work with most brands of aftermarket coilovers. There's the ralliart ones, but good luck finding them since ralliart has died.

I might be forced to make my own. I only mention because the top hat itself might actually be bad. Mine are getting squishy.

When I had my RS1s I had a similar issue, check your rear Swaybar and end link nuts that they are nice and tight. I checked mine and they were loose, if not look up a contact for Brian at JRZ he should get you squared away. Keep in mind, JRZ makes very track oriented set ups, so a little noise here and there isn't always an issue. I just upgraded to the new RS Pros and no noises 10kmi in loving them!
