Larger rotors on stock calipers?

I need to change my rotors on my 2010 se. I'm getting wheel pulse under braking, and they're too far to have them turned. I want to go ebc usr, but can't find any info about if larger rotors can run on stock calipers. Stock is 11.6 up front and 10.9 rear. Ebc usr come in 13.8 front and 13.0 or 11.9 rear. Would this work with 18" wheels and stock calipers?

what would be the purpose of larger rotors? And no it wont work because of the braket attached to the caliper would need to be modified. But the caliper is only going to cover so much area I don't see how a bigger brake rotor would really help you at all anyways, without a bigger caliper to back it up.

Everywhere I looked rotors were being sold 13.8 up front and 13.0 in the rear, but the service manual said they were smaller than that. For whatever reason, I think the service manual was showing regular lancer or ralliart rotor size.

stock Evo 10 front rotors are 350mm. So yes, 13.779in

Evo 7/8/9 front rotors are 320mm, 12.598in

Lancer GTS and Ralliart front rotors are 294mm, 11.6in.

Lancer DE and ES front rotors are 262mm, 10.3in.

Yeah, I was confused when the service manual said 11.6 front and 10.9 rear. Side note, anyone have any experience with ebc usr rotors?

Get centric/stoptech. Best deal and price to performance ratio. I use the premium solids for street and track use.

Evo 10 centric rotors:
Front:
125.46076 Centric Premium High Carbon Rotor (Solid)
126.46076 Centric Premium High Carbon Rotor (Slotted) - Add L or R in part number for sides
127.46076 Centric Premium High Carbon Rotor (Drilled & Slotted) - Add L or R in part number for sides
128.46076 Centric Premium High Carbon Rotor (Drilled) - Add L or R in part number for sides
121.46076 Centric C-Tek Standard Rotor (Solid)
Rear:
125.46075 Centric Premium High Carbon Rotor (Solid)
126.46075 Centric Premium High Carbon Rotor (Slotted) - Add L or R in part number for sides
127.46075 Centric Premium High Carbon Rotor (Drilled & Slotted) - Add L or R in part number for sides
128.46075 Centric Premium High Carbon Rotor (Drilled) - Add L or R in part number for sides
121.46075 Centric C-Tek Standard Rotor (Solid)

I would be an absolute liar if I didn't admit that it's partially cosmetic because the slots look cool. I wouldn't bother with drilled or dimpled. But I also like that they're completely coated so it wears off where there's pad contact, so it would continually protect from corrosion everywhere else. They're not a crazy amount more than stoptech centric blanks.

Centric has slotted as well and the premiums are coated as well. It's in the part number list I posted.

Either way, it sounds like you already made up your mind.

I appreciate the part #s. I ended up going with the stoptech slotted. I kept searching for good things about the ebc rotors, and found mainly complaints about ebc pads turning to dust, squealing, or people saying they like them. Centric/stoptech get recommended all the time, so I just went with them. Got both fronts for just over $200.

I'm going to do the rears too, but the fronts are the ones that really need changing. Is it a better idea to wait and do all four corners at the same time, or is it fine to do them separately?

Separately is fine.

Good, the squealing is driving me nuts. When I got new tires they screwed up one of my rear lugs, so it needs to be replaced. Can lugs be replaced without removing huge hub?
