If you're looking at all seasons, I've had Michelin AS3+ on my FE for about 10k kms now, I like it and it seems to be wearing pretty good. Grip on dry surface is excellent (for all season) and on the wet it's glorious. If you're expecting to see snow while on these tires don't fret because it can take light snow pretty good also. It's hard to say that these are the "best all seasons" available, but I am extremely happy with it.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Nitto NT05s yet - they'll last 12,000 miles if treated correctly (i.e. no track time, proper alignment, etc.)

Because the NT05 is old tire tech. All of the tires in the 200tw category are a better option.

Not trying to stir anything, but instead of vaguely stating that it's old tire tech, or one is wrong, please provide reasons why you think one way or the other.

I understand some older tires are still great tires despite their age. Maybe NT05 falls in that category? I would personally choose PS4S, re11, AD08R for my next summers because I plan on doing auto crosses in the future.

That's because they're trash. Easily the WORST tire I've ever ran.

LOL. Seriously? The NT05 is like ten years old man. Even the dated Bridgestone RE11 is a better tire.

I'm running with stock size Michelin PSS. High performance and very quiet as well.

I vote the Nitto NT05 as a terrible tire. I bought a set trying to save a few bucks and I paid the price and learned a hard lesson. They gripped okay in a straight line but once you ask the tires for grip in the turns, forget about it. Way better tires out there, Hankook RS4, Pilot Super Sports, New Nexen worth a try, Starspec and many more.

Vote #10 for NT05 are trash. Hard, don't grip, don't last. Awful.

It's interesting many people are saying the NT05 are terrible tires. My buddy has them and he likes them
